Set up the Quick Quote Agent (admins)
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Drumkit sets up your Quick Quote Agent with you: you tell us how your team prices, we create the agent and assign it to the right people. After that, anyone the agent runs for can see it, and what it has done, in the Drumkit Portal under Agents.
1. Tell us how you price
Email support@drumkit.ai with:
- Who it's for: the reps or groups the agent should run for, and which customers (sender addresses or domains) it should quote, if not everyone.
- Buy rate: which source to use (for example DAT, Greenscreens or your TMS history), or the lowest, highest or the average of your market sources. Add any DAT adjustments, such as "add 5% when the outbound load-to-truck ratio is above 6".
- Sell rate: your markup or margin, and any rules by equipment or distance, minimum and maximum margin, minimum and maximum quote, fuel and rounding.
- The reply: who to CC, and the wording or template you want. Tell us whether reps should review a draft or the agent should send.
We'll set it up, test it with you, and turn it on. It runs in Outlook and Gmail, for truckload requests.
2. Find your agents in the portal
In the Drumkit Portal, click Agents. Reps see the agents assigned to them. Company admins see every agent at the company, plus who each one is Enabled For and its Scope.
The table shows each agent's Email Senders, Tasks, Quote Strategy, Pricing and Status (Active or Disabled).
3. Change your agent
To change anything about an agent, email support@drumkit.ai with what you want, and we'll update it and confirm with you. That includes:
- Its pricing: buy rate source, markup or margin, and its rules
- Who the agent runs for (its assignments)
- The sender list, tasks and quote strategy
- Creating, copying or deleting an agent
- Whether it drafts or sends
Changes apply to the next request the agent handles. Drafts it already wrote don't change.
Reps can pause their own agent from the sidebar: Disable Agent in the Agents menu. See How the Quick Quote Agent drafts replies.
Check what the agent did
Click View Agent History (admins: View All Agent History) on the Agents page. Each run shows its status (Completed, In Progress or Failed) and what happened to the draft: Draft, Sent, Sent (edited) or Deleted. A lot of Sent (edited) is a sign the pricing needs a tweak.
FAQs
I'm an admin but I only see my own agents.
Sign out of the Drumkit Portal and sign back in, so your new access takes effect.
An agent shows no one under Enabled For.
Nobody is assigned, so it won't run. Email us and we'll finish the setup.
Can Drumkit change a disabled agent?
Yes. The changes are used once it's enabled again.
Can I see just my team's agents?
Not today. Admins see every agent at the company.
