Use truck lists and carrier verification

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Drumkit has two carrier tools that save you retyping and lookups. Truck List turns a carrier's email of available trucks into entries you can review and submit. Carrier verification shows who a carrier is, and whether they're cleared to haul for you, right next to their email. Both are turned on per team, so you may have one, both or neither.

Truck lists

From: dispatch@blueridgecarriers.com
Subject: Available trucks this week

Morning! Here's what we've got open:
2 x 53' vans in Memphis, TN, available Tuesday, heading to Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC
1 x 48' flatbed in Nashville, TN, available Wednesday, open destination

  1. Open the carrier's email and click Truck List in the New view. Kit has already pulled out each truck.
  2. Check every truck: Pickup, Pickup Date, Dropoff, Dropoff Date, Type and Length. Every field can be edited.
  3. Check Carrier Details (Carrier Name, Contact Name, Contact Email). If your team validates carriers, click Validate Carrier.
  4. Need another truck or day? Use Add new Truck or Add new pickup date. To give every truck the same destination, use Override Dropoff and Apply to all Trucks.
  5. Click Submit to and the name of the system your team posts trucks to.

If the email doesn't say the equipment type, check Type before you submit. Kit only fills in what the carrier wrote.

If Kit hasn't read the email yet, you'll see Drumkit didn't process this email since it wasn't identified as a truck list. Click Process Email to have Kit read it now.

Carrier verification

If your team uses a carrier verification service such as MyCarrierPortal, Highway, FreightValidate or Truckstop, Drumkit shows the carrier's record when you open their email.

  1. Open an email from a carrier and switch to the Active view. Drumkit looks up the sender.
  2. If it finds them, you see their status, any Infractions (MyCarrierPortal), and View Profile to open the full record in your verification service. A status such as Review Required or Unacceptable Fail means check with your carrier team before booking.
  3. If it says No carrier information available for this email address., use Search for a carrier and enter the carrier's DOT or MC number.

Invite a carrier (MyCarrierPortal)

If the carrier isn't set up with you yet, the card shows Invite instead of In Network. Click Invite, check the contact, and click Send Invitation. You'll see Carrier invited.

FAQs

I don't see the Truck List tab or the verification card.

Both are turned on per team. Ask your Drumkit admin, or email support@drumkit.ai.

Kit found the wrong carrier, or none at all.

Drumkit matches on the sender's email address first. If the carrier writes from an address your verification service doesn't have, search by DOT or MC number instead.

What does "Drumkit processed this email successfully but no trucks were found" mean?

Kit read the email but couldn't find trucks in it, for example when the list is in an image. Click Process Email to try again, or Create Truck List and add the trucks yourself.

An older truck list email isn't showing anything.

Kit reads email that arrives after Drumkit is set up for you. Open the older email, click Truck List, then Process Email to have Kit read it.
