What are the Day of Delivery Check-In and Proof of Delivery Follow-Up milestones?
Last updated: April 7, 2026
Two new milestones have been added to Tracker that extend coverage through the final leg of a load — delivery confirmation and proof of delivery collection.
Day of Delivery Check-In
This milestone sends an automated message to the carrier on the scheduled delivery date to confirm they are on track and will make their appointment. It's a proactive touchpoint that helps your team get ahead of any last-minute delivery issues before they become customer-facing problems.
Proof of Delivery (POD) Follow-Up
Once a delivery is confirmed, this milestone automatically sends a follow-up message to the carrier requesting the proof of delivery document. Rather than chasing carriers manually for PODs after the fact, Drumkit handles the outreach for you as part of the standard load lifecycle.
Both milestones can be configured in the Track & Trace tab the same way as any other Tracker trigger.
How to enable these milestones
If you'd like to turn on the Day of Delivery Check-In or POD Follow-Up for your account, contact support@drumkit.ai or reach out to your account manager.
Note: Automated proof of delivery collection is a workflow that some companies offer as a standalone product. Having it built directly into Tracker is a meaningful differentiator — if your team isn't using it yet, it's worth evaluating.
