What is the difference between Scheduled and Completed loads in Metrics?

Last updated: March 5, 2026

In Drumkit Metrics, load statuses are categorized as follows:

Scheduled loads are loads that have been created and booked in your TMS but have not yet been picked up. These are committed future loads.

In-Transit loads are loads that have been picked up and are currently moving to the delivery destination.

Completed loads are loads where delivery has been confirmed — the freight has been delivered to the consignee. These are used for revenue recognition and performance calculations.

Cancelled loads are loads that were scheduled but did not execute.

Why this matters for metrics:

- On-time performance is calculated only from Completed loads

- Revenue is typically attributed to Completed loads

- Scheduled load count helps forecast near-term volume

If your TMS uses different status labels, Drumkit maps them to these standard categories automatically.
