Setting up your personal Front forwarding rule for Drumkit

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Why this step is needed

If you want Drumkit reading emails in your own private (personal) inbox in Front, you'll need to complete this short one-time rule setup. This is separate from any company-wide or shared inbox setup your IT administrator or Drumkit team has already configured for your organization.

Step-by-step setup

  1. In Front, click your avatar icon at the top of the settings page.

  2. Select Rules.

  3. Click Create rule in the top right.

  4. Name the rule "Drumkit Forwarding - Personal Inbox - [your email address]" (replace with your actual email).

  5. Under When, check all of the following:

    • Inbound message is received

    • Inbound message is received (new conversation)

    • New comment is added

    • Outbound message is sent (new conversation)

    • Outbound reply is sent (existing conversation)

  6. Under If, select your personal inbox.

  7. Under Then, select Send to Webhook and paste in this URL:
https://4s6nibbmowjitmscgu3mzblrii0suucl.lambda-url.us-east-1.on.aws/Note: If you don't see "Send to Webhook" as an option, you'll need to install the "Webhooks" app from Front's App Store first, then come back and try again.

  8. Save the rule.

Verify your setup

Before you're done, confirm all four of the following:

  • The rule is enabled

  • The rule is saved

  • The rule is ranked high, ideally first, in your list of rules

  • No other rule in your list has "Stop processing other rules" checked (this can silently block Drumkit's rule from firing)
