How does Drumkit match a carrier to their MyCarrierPortal record?

Last updated: April 6, 2026

Drumkit auto-matches using signals from the email — the sender's email address, any MC or DOT numbers in the message, and the carrier name. If a match is found, the carrier's MCP compliance status and contact details appear in the sidebar automatically. If no match is found or the match looks wrong, use the carrier search field to look up the correct record manually.

Common pitfalls: If a carrier is emailing from a generic address (e.g., a Gmail account) or their MCP record uses a different domain, auto-matching may fail. Use the manual search to find them by MC number, then contact support@drumkit.ai if a carrier repeatedly fails to auto-match.
