Submit a bid from an email
Last updated: October 23, 2026
When a bidding portal emails you a load, you can price it in Quick Quote and submit your bid to the portal without opening it. Switch the reply to Submit Bid, check the portal, login and load number, and click Submit bid. Drumkit logs in, finds that load and enters your rate. It works for truckload quotes on 10 portals, if your team has Submit Bid set up.
Here's the kind of email we mean

A new load is open for bidding.

Destination: Miami, FL 33101 - Deliver Fri 6/12
Equipment: 53' Dry Van, 40,000 lbs
Bids close at 3:00 PM ET.
Supported portals
CarrierPoint, Emerge Market, Insight TMS, Kewill, Manhattan, MercuryGate, Navisphere Carrier, Oracle OTM, Trucker Tools and Uber Freight. Truckload (TL) only. See Supported portals and tips for what each portal supports.
1. Price the load
Open the email and Drumkit. Kit reads the load like any quote request. Check the lane, click Get Quick Quote, and set your sell rate in Rate Breakdown. See Quote a single lane.
2. Switch to Submit Bid
Below Rate Breakdown, switch the toggle from Draft Email to Submit Bid. When Drumkit recognizes the portal, it's already on Submit Bid.
3. Check the bid
In Submit bid, check:
- Bidding portal: the portal the load came from.
- Login: the portal login your company set up with Drumkit.
- Load ID: the portal's load number, read from the email. It's editable; type over it if it's wrong.
- Summary: the Lane, your Sell rate, and whether Drumkit will submit it as Line haul or Total sell. That's set per portal and shipper to match what they expect.
Fields Drumkit filled in for you have a small sparkle icon.
4. Submit
Click Submit bid. Drumkit logs in to the portal, finds the load, checks the load number matches exactly, and enters your rate. It can take up to 3 minutes. You can keep working; it runs in the background.
When it's done, the sidebar shows Bid submitted successfully, and Drumkit emails you the result. On CarrierPoint, CarrierPoint sends its own confirmation, so Drumkit only emails you if the bid fails.
That's it. The bid counts as your quote, and the lane moves to Quoted in Kit.
Drumkit never bids on its own. A rep always reviews the rate and clicks Submit bid. If the load number on the portal doesn't match the email exactly, Drumkit stops rather than bid on the wrong load.
FAQs
I don't see Submit Bid.
See Submit Bid is missing or failed. The usual reasons: it's an LTL quote, your team doesn't have Submit Bid set up, or there's no portal login for your company yet.
Drumkit didn't recognize the portal. Can I still submit?
Yes. Switch to Submit Bid yourself, pick the Bidding portal and Login, and type the Load ID. Then forward the email to support@drumkit.ai so we can recognize it next time.
Can I choose line haul or total sell?
Not from the sidebar. It's set per portal and shipper so it always matches their bidding rules. If it looks wrong, tell us and we'll fix the setup.
Can I add another portal login?
Email support@drumkit.ai and we'll set it up.
Can I bid on the portal page instead?
Yes, with the Chrome extension. See Use Drumkit on a bidding portal.
