Install the Drumkit Chrome extension
Last updated: October 23, 2026
The Drumkit Chrome extension opens the Drumkit sidebar next to bidding portals, your TMS's load pages and Gmail. Add it from the Chrome Web Store, pin it to your toolbar, and sign in once.
1. Add the extension
- Open Drumkit in the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension.
2. Pin it to your toolbar
Click the puzzle-piece Extensions icon at the top right of Chrome, then click the pin next to Drumkit. The Drumkit icon now stays in your toolbar, one click away.
3. Sign in
- Click the Drumkit icon in your toolbar. The sidebar opens on the right.
- Click Sign into Drumkit. A new tab opens.
- Sign in with Google or Microsoft, using your work account. New to Drumkit? Click Sign up on that page first.
- Close the Drumkit sidebar and open it again. You're signed in.
4. Use it where you work
On a bidding portal
Open a load's bid or details page on a supported portal. A small Open Drumkit button appears on the page. Click it, or click the Drumkit icon in your toolbar, and Quick Quote opens with the load already filled in.
See Use Drumkit on a bidding portal for the full flow and the list of supported portals.
On your TMS's load page
Drumkit recognizes load pages in 11 TMSs, including Aljex, 3G, Turvo, Revenova and Tai. Open a load and click Open Drumkit. The sidebar opens that load in the Active view. See Use Drumkit on your TMS load page for the full list.
In Gmail
Open an email in Gmail and click Open Drumkit or the toolbar icon. You get the same sidebar Outlook users see, for that email thread. See Use Drumkit in Gmail.
For Gmail, use a Chrome profile that matches your Gmail account, or a plain profile that isn't signed in to any Google account. Drumkit doesn't work in Incognito or Guest windows. See Drumkit isn't showing up or loading.
That's it. Next: Quote a single lane.
FAQs
Why doesn't the sidebar open by itself?
Chrome only lets an extension open its sidebar when you click something. Click Open Drumkit on the page or the Drumkit icon in your toolbar. You can also right-click the page and choose Open Drumkit.
I see "A new version of Drumkit was installed."
Chrome updated the extension in the background. Refresh the tab and keep working.
Can I use a browser other than Chrome?
Drumkit is a Chrome extension. Other Chromium-based browsers, such as Microsoft Edge and Brave, can install extensions from the Chrome Web Store, but Chrome is the one we support. Safari and Firefox aren't supported.
The Open Drumkit button covers part of the page.
Hover over it and drag it out of the way.
My portal or TMS isn't on the list.
Email support@drumkit.ai with the portal or TMS name and a link to the page you use.
