Sign in, sign up or reconnect
Last updated: October 23, 2026
You sign in to Drumkit with your work Microsoft or Google account. There's no separate Drumkit password. (In Front, you sign in with your Front account. See Set up Drumkit in Front.) If you've never used Drumkit, sign up at app.drumkit.ai/signup. If Drumkit stopped reading your email, re-link it at app.drumkit.ai/relink.

What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
A yellow banner: Outlook reported an issue. (or Gmail) | Drumkit lost its connection to your inbox, so new emails aren't being read. | |
The sidebar works, but Kit hasn't found anything in new emails for a day or more | Usually the same lost connection. | |
Sign up for Drumkit / Looks like you don't have a Drumkit account yet | There's no Drumkit account for this mailbox. | |
Email not registered on Drumkit, please signup instead. | Same: no account for this email yet. | |
You click Sign in to Drumkit in Outlook and it spins, then stops | The Microsoft sign-in didn't finish. | |
Microsoft says Need admin approval | Your IT team hasn't approved Drumkit for your organization. | Send your IT team For IT admins: Microsoft Entra consent and deployment. |
Chrome shows Sign into Drumkit | The extension isn't signed in. | |
Drumkit needs Gmail permissions to work its magic! | A permission box was left unchecked on Google's screen. | Sign in again and check every permission box Google shows. |
Re-link your inbox
Drumkit reads your email through a connection to Microsoft or Google. That connection breaks if you change your email password, if the Drumkit app is removed from your account, or if your company resets access. When it breaks, Kit stops finding requests in new emails.
- Click Click here in the yellow banner, or go to app.drumkit.ai/relink.
- On Relink your inbox, click Relink with Microsoft or Relink with Google.
- Sign in with the same work account you use for email and accept the permissions.
Kit reads new emails again from now on. Emails that arrived while the connection was down may not be read. Forward any you need to yourself.
- Go to app.drumkit.ai/signup.
- Click Sign up with Microsoft or Sign up with Google, using the same work email as your inbox.
- Go back to Outlook, Gmail or the Chrome extension and refresh.
If you're signing up on behalf of your whole company for the first time, your IT team may need to approve Drumkit first. See For IT admins: Microsoft Entra consent and deployment.
Fix Outlook sign-in
Try these in order:
- Allow pop-ups. In Outlook on the web, the Microsoft sign-in opens in a pop-up. Allow pop-ups for Outlook in your browser and click Sign in to Drumkit again.
- Use the right account. If Microsoft asks which account to use, pick the one for the mailbox you have open.
- Refresh Outlook. Close and reopen desktop Outlook, or reload Outlook on the web, then open Drumkit again.
- Reinstall the add-in. See Install Drumkit in Outlook and pin it.
Sign in to the Chrome extension
- Click the Drumkit icon in your Chrome toolbar and click Sign into Drumkit.
- In the tab that opens, under Log in to Drumkit, click Google or Microsoft.
- Close the Drumkit sidebar and open it again. (If you opened Drumkit from a page, refresh the page instead.)
FAQs
Do I sign in or sign up?
If you've used Drumkit before with this email, sign in. If you're new, or the sidebar says Sign up for Drumkit, sign up. Signing up again with an existing account doesn't hurt: it reconnects your inbox.
How do I reset my Drumkit password?
There isn't one. Drumkit uses your Microsoft or Google sign-in. If you changed your email password, re-link your inbox at app.drumkit.ai/relink.
I see "An error ocurred, please try again in a few minutes."
Something went wrong on our side during sign-in. Wait a few minutes and try again. If it keeps happening, email support@drumkit.ai with the time you tried and a screenshot.
How do I sign out?
Click the profile icon at the top of the sidebar and choose Log Out.
Will I lose my quotes if I re-link or sign up again?
No. Your account, history and settings stay as they are. Re-linking only restores the connection to your inbox.
