Apply Kit's suggested updates to a load

Last updated: October 23, 2026

When a carrier or a facility emails you about a load, Kit pulls out the update and offers it as a suggestion. Click the suggestion, check what Kit filled in on Load Info, and click Save. Your TMS is updated in one step, with no retyping.

Apply a carrier or appointment update

  1. Open the email. Kit says what it found, for example Hey! I found 1 carrier update for this load - select it to get started!
  2. Click the suggestion. Drumkit opens the load on Load Info and scrolls to the fields Kit filled in, which are highlighted.
  3. Check the values against the email and fix anything that's off.
  4. Click Save. Drumkit updates the load in your TMS.
Carrier fields filled from the example email, with the new driver, phone, truck and trailer highlighted

That's it. The new driver, truck and trailer are on the load in your TMS.

Appointment updates work the same way. Kit fills in the new pickup or dropoff time, and you click Save.

Don't need it?

Click the ⋮ menu next to the suggestion and choose Dismiss. For a check call, you can also click Skip Suggestion under the form. Nothing is written to your TMS.

Kit reads times as they're written in the email. If the email doesn't say which time zone, double-check the appointment time before you save.

FAQs

Kit didn't suggest anything for this email.

Kit needs to match the email to a load. If the email doesn't include a load number or reference Drumkit can find in your TMS, open the load from the search bar and type the update in yourself. Also check that the email arrived after you signed up: Drumkit doesn't go back through older mail.

Does Drumkit update my TMS automatically?

No. Kit fills in the form. The load changes only when you click Save.

One email has updates for several loads. What happens?

Kit lists a suggestion for each load it can match. Apply them one at a time.
