Quote a whole list with Batch Quote

When a customer sends several truckload lanes in one email, Batch Quote prices them all at once and writes one reply with every rate. Kit selects the lanes as a batch, you check them, click Get Batch Quote, and send. Your team needs Batch Quote turned on.

1. Load the lanes

Open the email. Kit finds the lanes, selects them all as a batch, and drops them into the Batch Quote section of the sidebar. If Kit selected only one lane, click Apply all lanes above the list to add the rest. You can also open Batch Quote yourself and click Add lanes using AI suggestions, or Add Lane to type one in.

2. Check the lanes

Each lane has its own card with pickup, dropoff and equipment. Click a lane to edit it, or use the remove icon to drop one. To change several at once, tick them (or Select All), click Edit Selected, change what you need, and click Apply Changes. Fields you leave on Leave unchanged stay as they are.

Before you get rates, Edit Selected changes Transport Type (and, on some teams, Pickup Location and Dropoff Location).

3. Get the rates

Click Get Batch Quote. Each lane is priced with the same default source as a single quote, and your default markup is added. Each lane card shows its Sell Rate and distance. After the rates are in, tick lanes and use Edit Selected to change their Margin, Buy Rate Source or Price Format. If one lane fails, it shows Quote lookup failed; click Try Again.

4. Send one reply

Under Draft Response, Drumkit writes one reply that lists every lane with its equipment and price. Edit it if you like, then click Send Email, or pick Draft Email from its menu.

That's it. Every lane you quoted moves to Quoted in Kit.

FAQs

Is there a limit on how many lanes I can quote?

No set limit. Very long lists take longer to price.

Can I quote only some of the lanes?

Yes. Remove the lanes you don't want before you click Get Batch Quote. Lanes you skip stay pending in Kit.

Does Batch Quote use my saved default margin?

Yes. It uses your personal default if you've saved one, otherwise your company's. See Set buy rate, margin and sell rate.

A lane says "Select equipment for this lane." What do I do?

Kit couldn't tell the equipment from the email. Pick it on that lane, or set it for several with Edit Selected.

I don't see Batch Quote.

Your team doesn't have it turned on, or you're on a bidding portal (Batch Quote is for email). Ask your Drumkit admin.
