Quote several LTL shipments at once

When one email asks for two or more LTL shipments, Batch LTL Quote rates them all in Tai and writes one reply with a rate table per shipment. Fix what's missing, click Get batch quote, and send. It's available for teams that quote LTL in Tai.

From: Marcus Hill, Brightline Supply
Subject: 3 LTL quotes for Thursday pickup
Hi,
Please quote all three, picking up Thursday from our Atlanta DC (1200 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30341):
1. Charlotte, NC 28206 - 4 pallets, 2,100 lbs, class 70
2. Nashville, TN 37210 - 2 pallets, 900 lbs, class 85
3. Birmingham, AL 35203 - 6 pallets, 3,400 lbs, class 70, liftgate

1. Open Batch LTL Quote
Open the email. With two or more LTL shipments from the same email, Quick Quote shows a Batch LTL Quote section with one card per shipment. Pick the Customer and Customer Staff at the top; Tai needs them to rate.
2. Get every shipment to Ready
Each shipment has a status:
Status | What it means |
|---|---|
Missing info | Something Tai needs is blank, like freight class or pickup times. Open the shipment and fill it in. |
Ready | Good to rate. |
Rating | Tai is rating it now. |
Rated | Rates are back. |
In reply | Its rates are included in the draft reply. |
No rates | No carrier could rate it. Check the details and click Retry, or open it in Quick Quote. |
To fix several at once, tick them, click Edit selected, set the origin, destination, Pickup ready, Pickup close, Freight class, Stackable or accessorials, and click Apply to N. Blank fields stay as they are on each shipment.
3. Rate them
Click Get batch quote (N of M ready). Ready shipments are rated a few at a time. Change a shipment after it's rated and click Re-rate with changes. Need the full LTL form for one shipment? Click Open in Quick Quote.
4. Send one reply
Under Draft response, Drumkit writes one reply with a carrier, transit and rate table for each shipment. Untick In reply on a shipment to leave it out. A shipment with no rates gets a line saying you're still working on it and will follow up. Edit the text, or click Reset to generated to start over, then send it or save it as a draft.
That's it. You'll see Successfully sent quote reply. (or Successfully created draft reply.).
FAQs
I removed a shipment by mistake.
Click Undo on the message that appears. It's there for a few seconds.
Can I add a shipment Kit missed?
Yes. Click Add shipment.
I don't see Batch LTL Quote.
It shows when your team quotes LTL in Tai and the email has at least two LTL shipments. For one shipment, use Quote LTL.
