How to re-install the Drumkit Outlook add-in

Overview

If the Drumkit Outlook add-in is not loading correctly or is displaying errors, removing and reinstalling it is the recommended first troubleshooting step. This guide walks through how to do that.

Step 1: Remove the Existing Add-In

1. In Outlook, click the Apps icon in the left-hand sidebar (the square icon with four smaller squares inside)

2. Click Add apps

3. Select Manage your apps

4. Find Drumkit in the list, click the three dots (...) next to it, and select Remove

Step 2: Refresh Outlook

Before reinstalling, fully refresh Outlook to finalize the removal:

• Outlook for Windows (desktop app): Fully close and restart the application

• Outlook on the web (browser): Sign out of your account, then sign back in

Step 3: Reinstall Drumkit

1. Return to the Add apps page (follow Step 1 above to get back there)

2. In the search bar, type Drumkit

3. Select Drumkit from the results and click Install

The Drumkit add-in will now be reinstalled and ready to use. Open any email to verify the Drumkit panel loads correctly.

Troubleshooting

Drumkit still isn't loading after reinstalling. Try clearing your browser cache (if using Outlook on the web) or restarting your computer (if using the desktop app), then repeat the steps above.

I don't see the option to remove or reinstall add-ins. Your organization may have restricted add-in management for end users. Contact your IT administrator to have the add-in removed and redeployed via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
