Read your rate card

Last updated: October 23, 2026

After you click Get Quick Quote, Drumkit shows one card per pricing source your team has connected. One card is selected as your buy rate; click any other card to switch. Which cards you see depends on the integrations your company has turned on, so your screen may show only one or two of the cards below.

Rate cards after Get Quick Quote, one selected

What's on every card

  • Buy Rate: the source's estimate of what you'd pay the carrier, with the per-mile rate next to it. Some sources label it differently (for example Market Rate or Verified Buy Rate).
  • Price Range: the low-to-high spread the source reports. Hover it to see the range per mile.
  • Transport Type: the equipment the source priced. If a source doesn't price the equipment you picked, it says so and shows the closest equivalent.
  • Confidence, on sources that report one.

Hover a card's rate to see exactly what the number is based on, such as the timeframe and the area it was pulled for.

Hovering a card shows what the rate is based on

The selected card has a check mark, and its rate becomes the Buy rate in Rate Breakdown. Your team can choose which source is selected by default. Ask your Drumkit admin if it isn't the one you want.

FAQs

Why don't I see the same cards as my teammate?

Cards depend on the integrations your company has connected, and some sources (such as DAT) also need your own seat. If a teammate sees a source you don't, ask your Drumkit admin or email support@drumkit.ai.

A card shows an error or no rate.

That source couldn't price this lane right now. The other cards still work, and you can always type your own buy rate. See Rate errors: DAT, SONAR, "no data for this lane".

Which number should I trust?

They answer slightly different questions: spot market, your network, your own history. If your team has Kit Insights, it averages the live market sources for you and tells you how much they agree.
